IGS Solar and Beaumont Solar to Provide Renewable Energy Solutions in the Northeast
Dublin, OH – IGS Solar, LLC has teamed up with New Bedford-based Beaumont Solar Co. to deliver comprehensive solar solutions to businesses, residents, communities, and non-profit organizations in the Massachusetts market. These solutions are provided through power purchase agreements, which enable customers to benefit from clean, renewable energy with no capital expense and no ongoing equipment responsibility. Together, IGS and Beaumont plan to develop over 25MW of commercial solar installations by the end of 2016.
Currently, the team is working on installing a 516 kW roof-mounted solar array at New Bedford Waste Services, LLC, located in New Bedford, Massachusetts. The system, expected to be online in March, is designed to provide a majority of New Bedford Waste Services’ annual demand for power. The project is financed, owned, and operated by IGS Solar through a long-term agreement with New Bedford Waste Services.
