IGS Headquarters Gets Lime Bikes for Employees and Community Members
Columbus, Ohio, May 30, 2018 – Lime, a bike transportation company, has launched a pilot program in Dublin, Ohio where they have stationed their bikes for commuters to use for free to bike to local locations, as opposed to driving. IGS Energy’s headquarters is one of the locations where the bicycles are stationed.
Serving cities with a sustainable transportation solution is at the core of Lime’s mission. The dock-free smart mobility solutions reduce traffic congestion, promote healthy living, and help people move around their cities in an affordable and convenient way while eliminating their carbon footprint. IGS shares the same values of reducing carbon emissions and promoting healthy living for both the community and their associates.
IGS works continuously to promote healthy wellness for associates by offering different programs and amenities. Amenities include: an onsite fitness center, basketball court, nutritious café choices, and more. Lime bikes will further IGS’ dedication to improving the overall wellness for associates.
In addition to the bikes at IGS, there are currently 250 bikes around Dublin. Lime would like the number to grow to 1,000 by the end of the year. Riders can rent the bikes through Lime’s smartphone app. The Lime bike fleet features GPS and self-locking technology.
The bikes arrived just in time for National Bike Month which takes place in May. IGS is excited to partner with Lime to offer this convenience for associates and the City of Dublin.
