IGS CNG Services Opens New Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) Station at Local Waste Services

DUBLIN, OH, February 14, 2019 – IGS CNG Services and Local Waste Services (LWS) partnered to build a new compressed natural gas (CNG) fueling station at Local Waste Services’ headquarters located at 1300 S. Columbus Airport Road, Columbus, Ohio 43207.

Construction of the station was completed at the end of January 2019. Local Waste Services enlisted IGS CNG Services to design, build, own and maintain the private, time-fill station for its fleet of over 30 CNG waste trucks.

“Our business has grown exponentially over the past 20 years. What started as a single truck operation today proudly serves over 150,000 customers in six Ohio counties. This partnership with IGS allows us to support our growth, while also aligning with our focus on the environment by using a clean, domestic fuel source,” said Rick Cattran, co-founder and managing member of LWS.

This station, which was fully funded by IGS CNG Services, underscores the company’s continued investment in its mission to drive energy independence. “Compressed natural gas remains a viable, domestic, cost-effective fueling option for fleets. The addition of this location brings IGS CNG Services’ network to 15 stations located throughout Indiana, Ohio, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania.
