IGS Energy is Named a Great Place to Work®
After a year in which we experienced such significant change and growth, we’re excited to share that IGS Energy has earned the Great Place to Work® Certification™.
In 2020, we announced our commitment to a sustainable future while enhancing our product offerings for our customers, shared our goal to achieve net zero carbon emissions by 2040, weathered a pandemic while moving to mostly remote work, and grew our team by more than 500 employees.
None of this would have been possible without putting our people first.
After a year in which we experienced such significant change and growth, we're excited to share that IGS Energy has earned the Great Place to Work® Certification™.
About the Great Place to Work® Certification™
To earn this recognition, we surveyed our employees using the Great Place to Work® Trust Index, a research-backed employee experience survey that asks questions about company culture, work-life balance, company leadership and more.
Eighty percent of our employees responded to the survey – here's how our team answered a few of the questions:
- 97% of employees said they were made to feel welcome when joining the company
- 96% of employees said that our facilities contribute to a good working environment.
- 95% of employees said that they're given the resources and equipment to successfully do their job.
- 94% of employees said that they feel good about the ways in which we contribute to the community.
And, most critically, 93 percent of our employees said that IGS Energy is a great place to work – compared with 59 percent of employees at a typical U.S.-based company.
Guided by our core values, IGS Energy is a tight-knit group of people who truly care about each other.
"We've experienced a lot of growth and success over the past several months all against the backdrop of the COVID-19 pandemic. That kind of success wouldn't be possible without all of us working together," said Chief People Officer Jenni Kovach.
Some of the most common words used in our employees' survey comments include "balance," "care," "family," "opportunity" and "community."
